For the last couple of weeks, Jack and I have been on a Busytown kick. I really enjoyed these books by Richard Scarry when I was a kid, and I thought Jack might be the perfect age to get into them. Now, everything is all about Huckle Cat, the main character in the books. Jack now likes to be addressed as Huckle, I am Mommy Huckle, and Ty is Daddy Huckle (Sorry Wendy and Bob).
Anyway, a few days ago we were at Borders and we found Huckle and Sally stuffed animals. Jack flipped out and I knew right then that these guys were coming home with us. It was so precious to see Jack bring them into our apartment - "Huckle and Sally, this is our house! And over here, this is our table...And this is our room. I sleep here and you guys get to sleep with me...Oh, and this is the bathroom...etc." They are now his constant companions. He has to hold them both every morning while watching cartoons.

So cute! I love that story about Jack showing Huckle and Sally around. I miss you guys so much!
Ethan and Gav love Busytown Mysteries on Netflix! They'll have to watch them together when you get back...
That is adorable! I loved those books too.
