We only have nine weekends left in Virginia, so we are trying to do something big every Saturday. Since this week is National Parks week and entrance fees are waived, we decided to go to the Great Falls national park. Unfortunately, it was cold, windy, and rainy, so we literally looked at the falls for five minutes and left. Good thing it was free!

The water was running very fast. There was a sign posted next to this look-out that said there are an average of seven drownings here every year (Mom-you would have been a basket-case). |

This little kayak was inside the visitor's center. (People actually kayak over the falls! Crazy! No Ty, you are not allowed to.) Jack gets so excited any time he sees his name. | | |

Next, to get out of the crazy weather, we headed over to the Dulles location of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. This place is amazing. It is basically one giant hangar completely filled with airplanes.

An SR-71 Blackbird and the Space Shuttle Enterprise way in the background. So cool, right? |

Jack in "moon boots." |

You can't really see the words on the side, but Jack and I are standing in front of Enola Gay. |

Coincidentally, this picture was taken by one of Ty's old BYU buddies that we ran into. |

Michelle and Eric Johnson live only 20 minutes away from the museum and were gracious enough to have us over for dinner afterward. We got to see their beautiful house and property out in the country and Jack got a little more bonding time with Cole and Dylan. Thanks guys!

"Enola Gay, you should've stayed home yesterday..." That was the first thing I thought of. Love the pictures! Jack is growing up so fast! We miss you guys so much!
Love, Anna and Jason
