Yesterday morning, Ty went hiking with my parents, brothers Sam and Dave, and cousin Kelly. They went to Lost Dutchman State Park and hiked what is called Flat Iron. Ty left at 5:50 in the morning and didn't get back until 4:00pm, so it was definitely a doozy. They had a good time and everyone was cheery (right, Mom?)! Here are some of the pictures Ty got of their trek:

**WARNING** Viewer Discretion is Advised
These are some very sad pictures of my little boy. I wasn't sure if I should post these or not, but if this blog is supposed to be a representation of what life is really like in our little home, then the good needs to come with the bad! Jack was helping me get dinner ready (as he does every night) by standing on a chair up to the counter top. He was about a foot away from the stove, but I told him as I turned the burner on that the stove was going to be hot, so he shouldn't touch it. As soon as I turned to pull something out of the fridge, I heard him cry out...I was too late. He burned his hand on the hot pan and, within minutes, it was a giant blister. We iced it for 2 hours and then wrapped it in gauze. He wasn't crazy about the gauze, so we had to put an Elmo band-aid on top of it.

Jack & Sage
This week I babysat our friends' daughter Sage since she was on Spring Break from kindergarten, and Jack loved it! Sage is 6 and the perfect age to be a big helper with Jack. They didn't fight once the whole week and played really well together. Everywhere we went, they had to hold hands. We went to the museum, park, library, and McDonald's all in just a few days, so the kids never got bored. Here's a few pictures from our various activities:

Weekend in Page
This past weekend, we drove up to Page to be with Papa on his birthday and to get some use out of our winter clothes. The first day there was (thankfully) very warm, though, so we decided to go on a hike.
