In case you didn't know, Jack has a minor obsession with penguins. Grammy got him some new penguin pj's and he is in love. He asks to wear them every night.

Dutch Oven Dinner

For graduation, Ty's parents got us our first Dutch oven. We had used it a few times, but we felt like we didn't really know what we were doing. Well, for Christmas, we got another Dutch oven so now we feel like we really need to get into it. We've been using them more often and trying new recipes and it's so fun! Last night, we had a little cookout at my parents' place and I think we got them sold on the Dutch ovens.

I just realized that I haven't posted pictures of my little guy in awhile, so here you go!

Milestones.

Look at these beauties.

Today I emptied my first 30 lb. bucket of hard white wheat to make bread. Some of you may have passed this milestone years ago, but it was a big deal for me. I started grinding wheat about a year ago, so I know we're not going through it very fast and could be using it a lot more...but it's a start. I am feeling very accomplished.
