More Camping

We just got back from a really fun camping trip to the Pine/Strawberry area. We went with Cody and JoEllen's family and it was nice to have some company. The little boys had a great time playing together, we ate great food, and the big boys even got a little biking in. What a great way to escape the Phoenix heat!

D-Backs Game

Last night, we went to a Diamondbacks game with Cody and JoEllen and had a great time. We hadn't been to a game in over a year, so it was great to go again.

This is what it looks like to walk for 15 minutes in 115 degree weather...

There were a few tears...

...but for the most part, the boys were all really happy and lasted a lot longer than we thought they would!

Third of July

So, we actually celebrated with the Jefferies family on the third this year. All the guys had work off, so we had a lunch BBQ and lots of swimming. We were also able to have some of my cousins' families over. I think the head count in the pool was over 20. We had a great time.

The weather was kinda crazy that evening. Storm clouds rolled in and we had a little lightning storm that competed with the Ahwatukee firework show. It was pretty awesome and the few raindrops we got were very appreciated.
