Saturday Service

We got to volunteer at the Temple last Saturday and work on cleaning the grounds. They encourage families and children to participate so we thought we'd give it a try. Ty got assigned to sweep, I got assigned to weed, and Jack got assigned to picking up all the fallen grapefruit:

When the boys were done with their tasks, they came to help me in the garden. It was hilarious. Jack pulled one weed and said "I'm done." I was able to get him to come back for a picture, though. At least we tried!

Jack shoved a Cheerio up his nose today in Sacrament meeting.

Awesome.

Ty took him to the bathroom to try to get it out. He was unsuccessful for several minutes. I think Jack pushed it up as far as his little finger could. Finally, when Ty saw that Jack was about to sneeze, he got the idea to block the other nostril...and out it came!

This is going to be a fun new stage.

Most of you know that my sister Anna is getting married next month. I'm so excited for her and I think both she and Jason are very lucky to have found each other. Anna came down from Page for some bridal shots and she asked me to do her hair and make-up. Oh, how I've missed this girl over the years.

My Dad-in-law and I have this thing with wearing denim on the upper half of the body... he loves it and I hate it. This was his Mother's Day gift to me. It was made by his mother Helen. Eat your heart out.
