Thank you to all of you who were so kind to leave positive comments on my post I Love a Cookin' Man. However, I'm afraid you were all just a little too encouraging...because tonight, Ty volunteered to make dinner again...and this is what we ended up with...
A couple of weeks ago, Ty brought home some deer that a friend at work gave him. It got thrown in the freezer and I was secretly hoping that we would both just forget about it. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Let's just say that if it weren't for the delicious homemade BBQ sauce that Ty smothered the burgers in, I wouldn't have taken a single bite. I'm just glad that it's all over.
This same friend also gave us some wild hog. Any takers?

Oh no! Tell Ty to stick to the good stuff if he wants to impress you. :) Anything that someone personally killed in the wild will not taste as good. Period. I'm glad there was some good BBQ sauce on top, at least. I bet that part was good!
If you liked that so much, you should try my elk meatloaf! Its actually pretty tasty! Jason says elk meat isn't as wild as deer, so you might like it. :) And we would gladly take that wild hog off your hands!
Yuck. I'm proud of you for taking a bite!
