Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the three best fathers in the world!

This is Ty, my husband. He might die when he sees this picture on our family blog... Oh well! From the moment I met Ty, I could tell that he was really just a twelve-year-old boy stuck in an adult body. He is perhaps the goofiest person I've ever met. He tries to make me laugh everyday and always succeeds. It has been so fun to watch Ty become a father and see what an amazing job he does. He tries so hard to make special memories with Jack like going for walks in the morning while I sleep or working on the cars together. I love you, Ty!

This is Scott, my dad. Dad has the amazing ability to fall asleep anytime, anywhere. This was taken at a birthday party with no shortage of screaming children. Maybe raising seven children of his own has made him so insensitive to sound. My dad is a peacemaker and always tries to make everyone happy. He's the most patient person I know. I have learned from him that it doesn't ever matter who is right. He's a great example to me of how to have Christlike love.

This is Mike, my father-in-law. I like to call him my Quasi-father, which somehow morphed into calling him Quasimodo. Mike is hilarious. I'm not sure exactly what he was thinking when he let someone take this picture of him. He is always trying to come up with ways to make his children and grandchildren laugh, though. Perhaps the best thing about him is that he's made me feel like one of his own daughters. He never hesitates to tell me to put a coat on when it's cold or help myself to his cereal stash when I'm hungry. Basically, I really lucked out.
