Our master bathroom mini-remodel is over and I'm so pleased with the outcome. In case you forgot, let me remind you how our bathroom walls used to look:
Precious.
Of course I forgot to get some good "before" shots of the room, but that close-up of the wallpaper is all you really need to see, I guess.
We ripped it off slowly over the course of several weeks.
The non-papered maroon walls needed a couple coats of primer, so that was the next step. We also took down the out-dated light fixtures.
First coat of blue paint was a success!
Jack even got into the action.
Ty cut and installed molding to frame the mirror.
Ta-da! New paint, towel bars, light fixtures, mirror, and rugs and we're done!

Wow to that old wall paper! You guys did a great job on it! What color blue was it you got? We are thinking blue for a room in our house and that looked like a great one.
I really like it. Its calming and pretty. Nice job! I'm interested in the name and brand of the blue color.
WOW! It looks like it should be in a magazine! It must be such a difference from the heavy, dark colors. It looks so peaceful and calming. Like you could spend days just soaking in the tub! (Especially since you don't have to look at that amazing wallpaper any more.)
Will you come and redo mine?
Looks very refreshing! Now you can come do mine ;)
