Welcome July

We've had two adoption leads in the last two weeks, but nothing has come of them yet. We realize that the roller coaster ride is just beginning! This would be so much harder if we didn't believe that there really is a child meant for a family and that we just need to keep hoping and praying for things to work out. We are so thankful for all of your love and support!

Summer at the Woods home has been laid back and we are all enjoying the slow pace. We had friends hook us up with sweet seats at a Dbacks game and stayed out way too late. Here's Jack getting a little loopy:

I got to hang out with my childhood best friend Lindsey, who just moved to Queen Creek.  It was so good to catch up!

Here's a comparison to us 12 years ago heading off to the Y2K Stake Dance. Wow, I'm glad junior high and that haircut are over.

We've hired someone to start cleaning our toilets once a week and he does great work. His name is Mr. Worker and if you accidentally call him any other name (e.g. Jack), he will quickly correct you.

Ty was in charge of Sunday dinner tonight so that meant good food and lots of it:

Not sure what Jack's face is supposed to mean. I'm also not sure why Ty thought our family of three needed five BBQ'd pizzas for dinner, but it was delicious.

Bec! You look so tan and your hair is growing in nicely :) I LOVE it! Those pizzas look yummy. Are they cooked on the grill? Miss you! Can't wait to see you later this week.

My mom told me about the first adoption lead, and Nichole told me about the second. I'm sure you feel like you're holding your breath on any lead . . . just know we continue to pray for your darling family.

Mr. Worker is awesome! I love eager helpers!

I love that you included your picture from 12 years ago!

(Sorry, that deleted comment is from me. I hate when I spell things horribly wrong.)
