I have an amazing friend Cherie that volunteers to be in charge of a couple Salvation Army kettles every Christmas. She asked for some helpers to take hour-long shifts this year, so we signed our family up for one. It was awesome. We will definitely be doing this again. Jack loved ringing the bell and wishing people a Merry Christmas. He also wasn't afraid at all to ask for money. You can kind of see in the third picture that he's holding out his hand. Hilarious.
The best moment was when he walked up to a car that was waiting in the loading area and held out his hand. The people in the car rolled down their windows and handed him some cash. We were all laughing.
Here's a little video, too:

Jack was the BEST bell ringer!! We are so proud of him and grateful for your family. Thank you for volunteering!!
How could you say no to that cuteness?! I bet he helped get more donations than anyone else. =)
Oh, and I love how he tells you that you should wait for people to come to ring your bell. Man! He's a cute kid!
I wish you would have got Jack walking up to that car on video. Jason and I did this last year, but it looks like you guys had a lot more fun than we did! :) Love you!
Cuteness definitely brings in the donations! Way to go!
And seriously, my little heart goes to anyone who can put up with all that ringing (for a whole hour straight!) I love to hear it- I mean it's great- but constantly? Um, no thanks. You all rock in my book!
what a cutie pie! how could people not give him money :)
