Busy Day

What a busy day we had today. Whew, I'm exhausted.

Morning: I went to Institute. I've always had the thought "Won't it be great to go to Institute every week when all my kids are in school!" Well, my friend Tia and I decided that we should just start going NOW and take turns watching each other's kids in the nursery. Last week I babysat, so this week I got to enjoy the lesson.

Lunchtime: I got my husband back. He was only in Utah for about 30 hours, but I missed him terribly. Gotta love Jack's face in this one...
Naptime: PJ Pants 101 with my mom. I used some left over Christmas flannel she had and made some PJ pants for Jack that should fit this winter. It brought back lots of memories from all my frustrating sewing lessons when I was a kid, but all in all it was a good experience. They took about a hour from start to finish.

Dinnertime: We had a guest for dinner--Elmo. And when I wasn't looking, Elmo got green beans shoved down his throat. Yummy.
Quick Funny Story: Lately, Jack has to hug and kiss EVERYTHING. He has to give his stuffed animals a hug and kiss before he gets out of his crib. He has to give the steering wheel of the car a hug and kiss before he'll go in the house. Yesterday, I tried to put the vacuum away without him noticing and when he realized it was gone he started crying. I had to pull it back out so he could hug and kiss it. The worst one today was the bottle of Zout stain remover. Yes, he had to hug and kiss it before I could put it away... Just a phase, right??

Awesome stuff. I love their little OCD phases they go through. Evelyn could not stand to not have every single buckle in sight buckled. That was when Allison was a baby. Every time I tried to put her in the swing, bouncer, car-seat, stroller, Evelyn into her high-chair, I had to first unbuckle everything. After pulling Allison out of something, the buckle was re-buckled within seconds. Kids are so fun and funny!

WOW! I hope it's a phase or he is going to be quite the Ladies Man! I'm glad Elmo got fed, I'm sure he was starving. So cute!
