First Opinion

My friend Stacy is creating an iPhone app called First Opinion that allows users to text doctors directly. They have been in the testing phase for the last couple of months, and I've been trying out the product for her. She asked if she could film me for a commercial on their Facebook page. Here is the finished product! By the way, the story is true...

Girls' Night Out

The boys are at the Fathers and Sons campout tonight, so Audrey and I got to have some one-on-one time. We decided to hit the mall and it was so fun. She absolutely loved window shopping with me and pointing out anything pink and sparkly. We went to Build-A-Bear and she picked out a puppy. She named her "Princess," of course.

We had to check out the shoe section at Dillard's, too. She especially loved these shiny sandals. What a little girly girl I have on my hands!

Elliot Goes to the Doctor

Elliot had a doctor appointment last week and looked so cute in his little gown that I thought I'd share:

Bus Rider

One of the things that Jack was most excited about moving to Gilbert for was the chance to ride a bus to school. He's got the hang of it now and says it's the best part of his day. Here he is off to school in the morning - he looks so little standing next to 8th graders.

And getting off in the afternoon!

It's handy that the bus stop is at a park so I get to play with these two cuties everyday while we wait for Jack.

Coloring Eggs

With the craziness of moving, we didn't get around to coloring our Easter eggs until last night. Better late than never, I guess. After having plenty of experience with plastic eggs filled with candy, I think the twins were disappointed to find out these were real eggs.

What Matters Most

The whole process of selling our house and moving has made me think a lot more about the things in life that matter most. Their names are Ty, Jack, Audrey, and Elliot. Saying goodbye to friends, changing wards and schools, and living out of boxes for a month are not my favorite things, but we feel moving to Peoria is the right thing for our family.

Just six months ago, I was a mom of one and I had come to the realization and acceptance that we may never have more. Then in a few short days, I became a mom of three. No nine month waiting period for us...just instant children. We've all had to adjust, but we've loved every minute of it. These kids are our life and we're so grateful to have them. Our new house is much closer to Ty's office and we're excited to get another hour of family time together every day.

Easter

Easter was a little crazy this year since we moved out of our home and into my parents' on Saturday. The best part was just being together as a family, since Ty had just gotten back from a two-week long training in Virginia. Times like that remind us how grateful we are to have each other.

Early morning Easter baskets (and Elliot in undies).

After church, we got invited to Easter dinner at my mom's friend's home. They had a huge egg hunt in their front lawn. The kids were in heaven just rolling around in the grass.

Happy Easter!
