What Matters Most

The whole process of selling our house and moving has made me think a lot more about the things in life that matter most. Their names are Ty, Jack, Audrey, and Elliot. Saying goodbye to friends, changing wards and schools, and living out of boxes for a month are not my favorite things, but we feel moving to Peoria is the right thing for our family.

Just six months ago, I was a mom of one and I had come to the realization and acceptance that we may never have more. Then in a few short days, I became a mom of three. No nine month waiting period for us...just instant children. We've all had to adjust, but we've loved every minute of it. These kids are our life and we're so grateful to have them. Our new house is much closer to Ty's office and we're excited to get another hour of family time together every day.

Easter

Easter was a little crazy this year since we moved out of our home and into my parents' on Saturday. The best part was just being together as a family, since Ty had just gotten back from a two-week long training in Virginia. Times like that remind us how grateful we are to have each other.

After church, we got invited to Easter dinner at my mom's friend's home. They had a huge egg hunt in their front lawn. The kids were in heaven just rolling around in the grass.

The twins are two and a half years old. They are both completely potty-trained now. They know most of their colors, some of their letters, all of their shapes, and the first three articles of faith. I feel so blessed to have such vibrant, happy children. You can't help but smile when you're around them.

SOLD!

We sold our house this month. We've been thinking about trying to move closer to Ty's work for the last year and finally decided it was time to go for it. We are sad to leave our family and friends in Ahwatukee. It's been a wonderful 5 years.

Zoo Day

Since Jack is on Spring Break, we decided to hit the zoo this morning. Ty took the day off of work and the weather was a perfect 80 degrees.

Princess on the Potty

We are all doing a happy dance around here because this girl is potty trained! She loves to wear her "princess underwear." Goodbye, diapers! You will not be missed.

Hail Storm

Today we had a huge hail storm (well, huge for Phoenix). The kids thought they were playing in the snow!
